On the course of your choice you will.....
* Produce and transfer your simple design on a suitable backer board
* Learn how to cut and shape vitreous tiles
* Use adhesives and grouts to complement your design
* Produce a bespoke mosaic you will be proud to take home
* Treat yourself! Learn how to make your own mosaic in one day with the option of two consecutive days, in the company of a small relaxed group in the homely setting of Ali's Garden Room
* You will learn essential mosaic skills, cut shapes with tile nippers, create with mixed ceramic glazed tiles, use a variety of adhesives, translate your ideas into a mosaic on plywood and watch a demo on how to grout (takes up to 24 hours for the glue to dry). You will take home grout to do.
* No previous mosaic experience necessary, for beginners and improvers
* All equipment and a generous amount of materials and refreshments are provided
* spaces limited to 4 people per workshop - larger groups can be catered for on request
* we can offer a two day mosaic abstract workshop to give you essential skills to make a beautiful mosaic using found and salvaged materials.
